Inspiring walk By Tom Quinn an Australian Mount Abu

Tom Quinn makes a record in Mount Abu

Congratulations Tom you are the Man.

Tom Quinn has done Mount Abu proud by being the first "BLIND" man to walk one of the toughest trails of Mount Abu. We from Mount Abu salute your resolution and feel thrilled that you have been the first blind man to accomplish this jungle trail, from GuruShikar to Vastan a distance of 26 odd kilometers.
Charles guide is one of our best guides from the Abode of the Gods accompanied Tom his wife, his sister-in-law and her daughter. They stayed overnight in a remote village in Sher Goan. The next day they completed the trek at Vastan.
Tom was honoured by our D.F.O Hemendra Singh, deputy forest conservator, and ranger Bharat Singh.

India's future lie in the hands of education Mount Abu.

Young Kids taking the initiative 2018

What a wonderful sight on New Year's day.

Today when I stepped out into the New Year 2018 to record my first bird of the year I was welcomed with a wonderful sight. Village children sitting out in the rising sun warming themselves against the bitter onslaught of Abu's winter, and in each child's hand was a book from which they were studying. What an omen here was young kids preparing themselves for the future without being goaded to pick up their books and study. These small initiatives by children can make a big difference to the outlook of the future. This sincere gesture of these kids made my day.

Kaloo Boy  came visiting
Kaloo boy who was raised by us as a pup and had to be given away because of unforeseen circumstances came to a visiting out of the blue, as much to say "Hey, it's me come for my New Years treat." He sure made our day his excitement coupled with ours turned our cold morning into something of a Nirvana.
